The work, both realistic and supernatural, of this "inspired nun" is undoubtedly one of the most exciting mystical adventures of the 20th century. A multifaceted artist, extraordinarily gifted, Geneviève Gallois left her satirical register when, converted, she entered the Benedictines in 1917.
It was the beginning of a fascinating spiritual and artistic journey.
Day after day, with basic technical means, she composed a vast body of work often mixing text with image, making the most modest moments of daily life shine, constantly oscillating between gravity, humor and deep jubilation.
She has the painful gaze of a hunted angel: she is a raw nerve.
