The Strasbourg visual artist Christophe Meyer, whose work mainly focuses on the animal-man, receives a commission for a Protestant church in Moselle on the theme of Noah's Ark. He researches the subject - God causes a flood to regenerate humanity - makes sketches and presents them to the parishioners whose collective history is marked by unemployment and demographic decline. The film is punctuated by the voice of Christophe Meyer and the music of Rodolphe Burger.
