Bon papa, un homme sous l’occupation

About - Bon papa, un homme sous l’occupation

In search of her paternal grandfather's dark past, the director plunges us into the Vichy France of the National Revolution. Through the commitment of an ordinary man, a part of the repressed history of the French is revealed. This journey comes up against silence and the avoidance of history, from the small to the large, in order to finally get the word out. This process is made all the more difficult by the fact that the history of the maternal grandparents is marked by the Shoah.
